University students from the US and local universities in the host countries often partner together to develop and model AAC tools with local school teams. Student reflections are both written and recorded following their participation.

Following the completion of each in person project, the Nika Team gathers feedback from the host community members including families, educators, university faculty and other local leaders.

Each community demonstrates the sustainability of AAC development in their own formats. Video and photo documentation highlight implementation of AAC systems and programs following in person projects.
